Selihot at Beth Tzedec Congregation

Join us Saturday at 9:15 pm for an uplifting Selihot evening beginning with the screening of the Canadian original screenplay award-winning film REMEMBER. Directed by Atom Egoyan, produced by Robert Lantos and starring Christopher Plummer, this film tells the tale of an elderly man with dementia who, with the aid of a fellow Auschwitz survivor and a hand-written letter, goes in search of the person responsible for the death of his family.

Following the film at 11:00 pm, Rabbi Baruch Frydman-Kohl, Rabbi Adam Cutler and Cantor Sidney Ezer lead us in a late-night prelude to the High Holy Days with an inspirational service. We conclude the evening with a midnight dessert reception. No charge. Everyone welcome.
