Hailed at its premiere in 2005, "Like Smoke Above the Wind", composed by Cantor Charles Osborne, combines beautiful, haunting music, gripping narration and theatre to portray the emergence of the Jewish People from the depths of the Holocaust to the Establishment of the State of Israel. As we commemorate Yom HaShoah, Yom HaZikaron and Yom Ha’Atzmaut, let’s recall the journeys of our people.
We welcome the MIR Trio, the Knox United Church Choir, the Rosedale United Church Choir, and students of the Royal Conservatory of Music performing alongside Cantor Charles Osborne, Cantor Katie Oringel, the Temple Sinai Ensemble Choir and Avery Saltzman, co-artistic director of the Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company.
Members of Temple Sinai, Knox United Church and Rosedale United Church: $10;
Non-members: $20
