A Temple Sinai Program — Omer Study Following Shabbat Morning Services — Putting God Second: How to Save Religion From Itself

In Rabbi Donniel Hartman’s new book, he tackles one of modern life’s most urgent and vexing questions: Why are the great monotheistic faiths — Judaism, Christianity and Islam — chronically unable to fulfill their own self-professed goal of creating individuals infused with moral sensitivity and societies governed by the highest ethical standards? Our clergy will lead a discussion based on this book. Download the book “Putting God Second” or copies will be available in the Temple Office for $20. A light breakfast to be served. Time: 8:45 a.m. 210 Wilson Avenue.

Sponsor: Temple Sinai Congregation of Toronto
