A Temple Sinai Program: Exile And Return - The Biblical Story From Babylonia Back Home
Wednesdays May 13 at 7.00 p.m.
After almost 70 years in exile, the Persian King Cyrus issued a decree allowing the Jews to return from Babylonia to their ancestral home in Judea. The transition was not easy: political, economic and religious challenges faced the people every step of the way. In this course, we’ll learn about the prophetic inspiration of Ezekiel and Deutero-Isaiah, and the brilliant leadership of two unsung heroes in the Tanakh: Ezra and Nehemiah. Their courage provides us with a role model for our own generation. For more information, visit us online at or call the Temple Office at 416-487-4161.
