A Temple Sinai Program: Shabbat Itanu
Shabbat Itanu, the annual city-wide Toronto event that focusses on accessibility, will once again come to Temple Sinai. The thought-provoking Shabbat morning service will explore the theme of b’Tselem Elohim (we are all created In God’s image). This year, our focus is welcoming our trans gender friends. We are thrilled to honour our members Lucas Bloch and his mother Giselle Bloch, who are strong advocates for trans rights. As a parent-child duo, they will share their personal stories and will challenge us to rise to the occasion as a diverse and inclusive spiritual home. The morning will feature young voices in our community, special guest singer, Sage Siegel, as well as the Temple Sinai Ensemble Choir and the Temple Sinai Band. Time: 10:00 a.m.
