Boker Tov Tisha B'Av Observance with Temple Sinai
Sunday, July 18 at 8.30 a.m.

Beginning at sundown on Saturday, July 17th we join with Jews around the world in observing the fast of Tisha B'Av, a day marking the destruction of the two Temples in Jerusalem in ancient times and the exiles which followed. A day of mourning, Tisha B'Av also turns us toward the hope of renewal and repair as we prepare for the High Holy Days..

On the morning of Sunday, July 18th, we will observe the day together during Boker Tov by chanting selections from megillat Eicha-- the biblical book of Lamentations, led by our member Judith Miller, and a musical presentation from Cantor Osborne.
