A Temple Sinai Program — Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis with Dr. Ken Croitoru
One in every one hundred and fifty Canadians is living with Crohn’s or colitis — a rate that ranks in the highest worldwide. Most alarming, the number of new cases of Crohn’s disease in Canadian children has almost doubled since 1995. Dr. Croitoru will speak about current developments in Crohn’s and Colitis research highlighting new paradigms in treatment. Dr. Ken Croitoru is a professor of medicine at the University of Toronto and Mount Sinai Hospital.
