Kobi (Jaacov) Hass
A native Israeli, Kobi came to Toronto from Tel Aviv with his family in 2010.  He holds a master’s degree in music from Tel-Aviv University.  Kobi served as department head and teacher at one of the top high schools in Israel for 15 years and spent14 years as an educator for adult programs at the Hed College of Contemporary Music in Tel-Aviv.  He has also taught extensive courses in Hebrew as a foreign language in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Since coming to Toronto, Kobi has been teaching modern and biblical Hebrew at the Miles Nadal JCC Hebrew Institute, lecturing about music and philosophy, and translating for the CBC.
