Join us for our February 4 morning service, held at the MNJCC chapel with a kiddish afterwards, and an adult-education session that is open to all. Rabbi Goldberg will deliver a dvar Torah on the theme of making Jewish life accessible.
Inclusivity in all its manifestations has always been at the core of Congregation Shir Libeynu. It is written into our Mission Statement, and includes making sure our physical spaces are adaptable for all. Our venues are wheelchair accessible, and we were the first Jewish congregation in Toronto to feature a deaf member giving a Rosh Hashanah sermon/speech, with interpreting in English and Hebrew. We are always looking for ways to be open and welcoming.
