in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States

JGS Toronto Panelists:
Marla Waltman (Canada),
Les Kelman (UK) and Barry Spinner (USA)

Shaarei Shomayim Congregation

Entrance: Back Parking Lot Doors
Wednesday, 25 March 2020, at 8:00 p.m.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Our panelists will show you how and where to obtain naturalization records in each of the three countries and will clarify the type of information available in these documents. They will also explain which immigrants went through the naturalization process and why some may not have needed to take part.

Marla Waltman, a researcher and writer, served on the Executive Committee and the Board of JGS Toronto. Recently she was President of our Society.

Les Kelman was born in Scotland. He has been an active JGS Toronto member since the early 1990s, serving as Past President and Chair of the Program Committee.

Barry Spinner’s ancestors came from Central Europe and lived in the United States, providing him with a massive number of American naturalization records.
