A free one hour lecture by Dr. Rachael Turkienicz, the Founder and Director of Toronto's Rachael's Centre for Torah, Mussar & Ethics. She is one of Canada's leading Jewish voices. “Rooted in Torah, Mussar focuses on using our free will to get out of automatic and make behavioural choices leading to Tikkun Olam, repair of the world,” explains Dr. Turkienicz. “Mussar teaches a methodology for expressing meaningful and ethical behaviour into the world through our daily actions.” Tikkun Olam, the goal of Mussar, provides a bridge to fix what’s wrong with the world through our actions. Dr. Turkienicz is an outstanding scholar, teacher and community leader. She has lectured widely in both Canada and the US and has appeared as a panelist and guest on several television networks.
