Strangers with the Same Dream: After winning the Canadian Jewish Book Award in 2014, author and poet Alison Pick returns to present her latest novel, Strangers with the Same Dream. The novel examines Kibbutz life through the characters’ dreams, politics and idealogies, beginning in Palestine of the 1920’s first through the eyes of newly arrived starving Russian Jews up until today’s modern, privatized enterprise.
