Léa Roback: Champion of Social Justice: OISE Professor, Tara Goldstein, will talk about her great-aunt, Léa Roback – Montreal-based feminist – who challenged the repressive policies put forward by the Duplessis government from 1936-1939 and 1944-1959. It was a time in Québec that was known as La Grande Noirceur, The Great Darkness. Léa Roback was a light and vision in the darkness.
