The Canadian Society for Yad Vashem, leading a Zachor Coalition of more than 20 organizations committed to Holocaust remembrance, has coordinated the National Holocaust Remembrance Day Ceremony on behalf of the Government of Canada for more than a decade. Last year’s ceremony was attended by about 600 guests, including Holocaust Survivors and their families; ambassadors; Party leaders, Cabinet ministers, senators, and Supreme Court judges; as well as educators and students.
