The Canadian Society for Yad Vashem has carried out the National Holocaust Remembrance Day Ceremony on behalf of the Government of Canada since 2003.

Close to 700 guests attended the 2017 National Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony including Holocaust survivors and their families, the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, leaders of political parties of Canada, over 50 representatives of diplomatic missions in Canada, Cabinet Ministers, Justices of the Supreme Court of Canada, close to 60 members of Parliament, and hundreds of students and community members from across Ontario and Quebec.

The theme of the 2018 National Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony is: Remembering the Past, Shaping the Future: The Importance of Remembering the Holocaust

An informal reception to follow the ceremony.

Admission is free. RSVP required. Transportation is available from Montreal and Toronto. Please click the blue REGISTER button to the right.

Printed tickets will be requested at the entrance of the Museum’s LeBreton Gallery where the Ceremony will take place.
