With Mindful Self-Compassion teacher, Channa Verbian M.Ed, RSW
Channa Verbian M.Ed, RSW completed teacher training in Mindful Self-Compassion at The UC San Diego School of Medicine Center for Mindfulness and is authorized to teach MSC as a teacher trainee. Additionally, since 2006, she has been co-facilitating Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) groups with Dr. Lucinda Sykes at Meditation for Health. Channa received her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto. She has a private psychotherapy practice where she incorporates both mindfulness and self-compassion practices.
