Raoul Wallenberg Day Film Screening

In honour of Raoul Wallenberg Day 2022, join the Neuberger for a film screening of PASSAGE TO SWEDEN. This 2021 release tells the lesser-known story of events occurring in Scandinavia and Budapest during the Second World War. It focuses on the heroic actions of ordinary people who saved the lives of thousands of Jews and fellow countrymen.

Passage to Sweden will be available for 72 hours on the Virtual J.
A talkback with the filmmakers will take place at 7:30pm on January 17, on the Virtual J.

About Wallenberg Day: Raoul Wallenberg Day was designated by the Government of Canada in 2001 to commemorate Wallenberg, Canada’s first honorary citizen, who is credited with saving the lives of tens of thousands of Hungarian Jews. The Neuberger presents an annual commemorative and educational program to mark this day.
