Facilitated by: Natalie Richter and Jodi Asch, two mothers of young adults with special needs
We will be sharing our ideas and have group brainstorming sessions. The clearer we are, the better we will be at finding the right resources to help us get closer to the dream.
By the end of the evening we’ll have developed a checklist of things to think about when preparing for our kids to live ‘on their own’.
1. Start to articulate what our hopes for our kids are (dreaming stage)
2. Start to articulate what their dreams are or how to find out about their dreams
3. Begin a checklist of what we need to think about to create a healthy, safe and happy home
Space is limited. RSVP mandatory; 905 889 3264 ext. 226 or firstname.lastname@example.org
