A Temple Sinai Program: Supporting Parents: Keeping Kids Safe Online with Jewish Family and Child Service (JF&CS)
Thursday, February 18 at 7.30 p.m.
Children and teens spend a significant amount of time online for school, gaming and communicating with friends. In this workshop, Keila Paul and Michael Waxman from Jewish Family and Child will share healthy online practices for parents and children, how to set guidelines for using online gaming and social media platforms and how to talk to your kids about online safety. Keila Paul received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto in 2016. She began working with JF&CS in 2017, where she is now part of the School Social Work team. Michael Waxman is the Manager of Family Services at JF&CS where he oversees several counselling and outreach programs. He has also been a part of the Intake Team and initiated the LGBTQ+ Services program at the agency. For more information visit our website at www.templesinai.net, call the Temple Office at 416-487-4161 or email programs@templesinai.net.
