We will continue our travel to Israel with our friend and tour guide, Uri Feinberg. This series of two virtual trips will uncover the different layers of Israel's history. Along with some special guests, Uri will help strengthen our enduring connection to the State of Israel.

Wednesday, July 7
The Second Temple:
Pilgrims and Sects, the footsteps they took, and the stones that fell.

We will journey back to the Second Temple period to learn about pilgrims and sects of the time. Who were they, what did they believe, where did they live, why did it end, and why wasn't that the end?

Villages and strongholds, communes and mansions serve as the backdrop on our journey, including songs of ascent, sites of the fall and the written word that led to return.

Uri Feinberg has been a Jewish educator for twenty-five years and is a licensed Israel tour guide. Uri and his family live in Modi'in and are active members of YOZMA, Temple Sinai’s sister congregation.
