On Sunday, May 5, 2019, the Jordana Lokash Foundation will be hosting their annual charity Family Hockey Challenge at Upper Canada College Sports Arena. This annual event lets parents and children play hockey together as teammates, in a friendly “for fun” tournament, and at the same time, raise money for Save a Child’s Heart.

Our goal is to use the money raised from the event to provide physical rehabilitation and sporting equipment for a children’s play room in the new Children’s Hospital and International Pediatric Cardiac Centre at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel. The goal is to have the children’s room fully equipped within five years at a cost of $75,000. Help us achieve our goal!

Save a Child’s Heart is a global humanitarian organization with a sustainable approach to global health. Not only does Save a Child’s Heart provide life-saving surgery to children suffering from rheumatic and congenital heart disease, but they also train medical staff from developing countries to be able to provide life-saving care in their own communities. To date, Save a Child’s Heart has treated over 4,900 children from 58 different countries and has trained over 120 medical personnel. To learn more about Save a Child’s Heart please visit their website at www.saveachildsheart.ca .

This event is not just a day of hockey; it encourages children to get involved in a fundraising effort. Thank you for taking the time to be a part of a very special day!

Please feel free to call Paul Lokash at 416-720-6839 or email plokash@bell.net to discuss your participation.
