Beloved filmmaker Avi Nesher (Turn Left at the End of the World, The Secrets, The Matchmaker, Past Life) offers a heartfelt and humorous story of family relations set in modern-day Jerusalem. Anat (Joy Rieger, Past Life) is a strong-willed young woman who decides to marry a member of Jerusalem’s insular Orthodox community (Nathan Goshen). Her divorced secular parents (Yuval Segal from Fauda and Maya Dagan from The Matchmaker) and grandfather (Sasson Gabai, The Band’s Visit) attempt to thwart the upcoming nuptials, with unexpected results.
