Message from Debra Aronson, Chair of Toronto Diller Teen Fellows

As the Chair of UJA Toronto's Diller Teen Fellowship program, I wanted to welcome you to our inaugural Diller alumni newsletter. I hope you find the content engaging and inspiring.

The time that you spent as a Diller Teen Fellow was short, but we hope that the skills and inspiration you gained from that one year continue to be part of your foundation for all that you are doing. You are part of a formidable community of alumni and you have the power to influence both the Jewish and secular worlds that you inhabit.

The power of a community is far greater than the power of an individual. We encourage you to stay in touch with each other, with us at Diller, and to UJA Toronto. There are so many ways to engage, volunteer, and work that you are sure to find meaningful. We will be offering social activities where you can connect with old friends and make new ones; we are planning community volunteering where you can continue to give back; and we have new cohorts coming though who could always use mentors.

We are so excited to continue working together in a joint effort of Tikkun Olam. Please reach out to us with your ideas, inspirations, and feedback. It’s always great to hear from you.

Wishing you all good health during this time.

Debra Aronson
