Congregation Shir Libeynu is a liberal, inclusive, egalitarian and unaffiliated community that has been celebrating High Holy Days for 20 years in downtown and midtown Toronto. We hold services at the First Unitarian Toronto congregational building at St. Clair W. and Avenue Rd. Memberships include all tickets, and there are also tickets available to individual services. Our innovative, participatory services combine tradition and innovation. Shir Libeynu is Hebrew for "song of our hearts", and our services include prayers and music both ancient and modern. Our diverse community welcomes all, including traditional, multi-faith and LTBTQ individuals and families.
The congregation will hold first-of-the-month and other Saturday morning services in 2016,in the chapel on the 3rd floor of the Miles Nadal JCC (750 Spadina Avenue at Bloor) followed by a Kiddush. There is a free children’s program with stories, crafts and games. We also offer adult education workshops and family holiday celebrations throughout the year.
