Yachad, The Canadian Jewish Council for Disabilities, is the only non profit international organization dedicated to providing inclusive social and recreational programs to people with special needs in the full spectrum of Jewish life. Yachad is an affiliate of the Orthodox Union. Inclusion is when main stream high school and university students participate together with people with special needs as equals.

Yachad collaborates with other organizations in the city to provide truly inclusive programs.

Weekly programs include: Zumba classes, life skills in the kitchen, music and yoga, art classes, and teaching social skills in a fun and enjoyable environment.

There are also approximately 2 monthly programs centered around the Jewish holidays and we run very popular Shabbatonin (weekend retreats) in different parts of the city.

Yachad offers 2 vocational Summer programs, 1 in Moshava Ennismore (sleep away camp) and 1 in Moshava Baiir and a camper program in Moshava Ennismore.

Yachad has Summer programs in over 30 camps around the world and provides 2 Birthright trips each year.
