Justin Abrams, CPA, CA

Justin Abrams, CPA, CA, is a Tax Partner at Kraft Berger LLP Chartered Professional Accountants and has been at that position since January 2018; he joined the firm in 2013 as a Senior Manager. 2013 (from 2006-2013, Justin was at Deloitte LLP), specializing in private company taxation, including corporate restructuring, estate planning, corporate and personal compliance and trusts. Justin also has an extremely “healthcare-provider-focused” practice, and speaks to Physicians, Dentists and other medical professionals at Universities across the province. Since joining Deloitte in 2006 and Kraft Berger in 2013, Justin has been a valued member of his taxation group and is sought after as a resource for technical, organizational and managerial expertise.

Kate Bresner, Associate

Kate Bresner has experience advising clients on a broad range of employment and labour law matters, including issues that arise in hiring and termination, employment standards, the development of workplace policies, disability and accommodation, harassment and discrimination, and workplace discipline. Kate regularly drafts employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, and workplace policies.

Prior to joining Litter, Kate articled at a union-side labour firm, worked in-house at a regional police service, and practiced employment and labour law at a regional full-service firm. During law school, Kate was editor-in-chief of the International Human Rights Program’s Rights Review magazine.

Dr. Ivan Diamond, MD PhD

Ivan Diamond is a Radiologist at Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga where he is the physician lead for Acute Care Imaging. His main areas of clinical interest are in Emergency Radiology as well as Body and Women’s Imaging. Prior to becoming a radiologist, Ivan did training in General Surgery as well as a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto. For the past 3 years, Ivan has been a chaperone and one of the doctors on Toronto High School program for the Toronto March of the Living and would have been there again this year, were it not for the COVID pandemic. This year Ivan is one of the co-chairs of the Health Care Division for the UJA annual campaign.
