February is Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month (JDAIM)!

UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and the MNJCC are proud to be celebrating JDAIM.

Since 2009, North American Jewish Communities have been celebrating Jewish Disability Awareness Month in February. Now known as Jewish Disability and Inclusion Month (JDAIM), it is an opportunity to celebrate our commitment to removing barriers, celebrating diversity and connecting with our Jewish values. We are excited to celebrate JDAIM with numerous events across the GTA: film screenings, policy panels, children’s programs, art exhibits, and more.

Making Jewish Life accessible for all is one of the most important community responsibilities, and one of greatest community opportunities to benefit from what everyone has to contribute.

The 2021 JDAIM Program Guide – a North American-wide resource full of program ideas, including the JDAIM READS! program will be available here.
