UJA Federation Readies for December 2nd Israel Solidarity Fly-In

Don’t Miss this Opportunity to Show Your Support In Person

By Daniel Horowitz--On Sunday, November 18th, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto - with only 48 hours notice - organized a special Israel Solidarity Fly-In to demonstrate Jewish Toronto’s solidarity with the people of Israel during this critical time.

As part of this fly-in, participants visited UJA Federation’s partnership community of Bat Yam, and received key updates on the current situation as they unfolded, directly from a number of Israeli insiders.  Participants also enjoyed the opportunity to host children from communities across Southern Israel, and provided them with much needed respite.

The Fly-In, which returned to Toronto on November 22, proved so successful, and was appreciated by the Israelis so much, UJA Federation has decided to send another Fly-In!  From December 2 – 6, 2012, the next UJA Federation Israel Solidarity Fly-In will enable participants to take part in what will be a truly rewarding and unforgettable experience. Cost of the full land and air package in economy is approximately $3,000 per person based on double occupancy.

Due to the short notice of this fly-in, anyone interested in registering should contact Eyal Golan at egolan@ujafed.org as soon as possible.

Extended stays in Israel are available.

We hope you will join us for this unique opportunity!
