There are close to 24,000 Jews living in poverty across the GTA, many of whom struggle to regularly afford kosher meals. UJA is proud to support Circle of Care, which has operated its Kosher Meals on Wheels service for 53 years. One of the largest of its kind in Canada, this vital program delivers over 145,000 hot kosher meals to clients, with the help of some 180 volunteers. During the winter, however, many volunteers head south for warmer climates. As part of an annual tradition, UJA professionals step in to help.
