Dan Senor, an adjunct senior fellow for Middle East Studies at the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations, will discuss Israel’s transformation into a high-tech powerhouse. Next to the United States, Israel boasts the world’s largest number of companies on the NASDAQ.

Entertainment will be provided by The Midway State, winner of 2 MuchMusic Video Awards and mentalist, Haim Goldenberg.

The event is taking place to mark the official closing of United Jewish Appeal’s annual fundraising campaign, chaired this year by Debbie Kimel and Ken Tanenbaum.  The campaign annually raises over $60 million for social welfare and education projects in Toronto and Israel.
