OCA Denounces Campaign Targeting Canadian Jewish Camps

The Ontario Camps Association (OCA) and Jewish organizations are condemning a campaign targeting Canadian Jewish camps. The campaign has singled out the OCA, its executive director, staff, and more than a dozen Jewish camps for supporting Israel. In a statement, the OCA said it will not tolerate harassment, intimidation, antisemitism, or discrimination. It described the accusations as rooted in harmful stereotypes about Israel, Zionism, and Jewish people.

UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and the Jewish Security Network (JSN) released a statement applauding the OCA’s stance. UJA remains in direct contact with camps, providing our full support, while JSN is co-ordinating security efforts with camp leadership, as well as local law enforcement, to ensure camps remain safe and secure.
