As the situation in the Middle East continues to evolve, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and its partner agencies are rapidly responding to developments on the ground in Israel. 

 

Because of UJA’s longstanding investments on the ground in Israel, and the continued generosity of Toronto’s Jewish community, additional allocations are being granted as the needs of Israelis change. 

 

A recent allocation of $1.5 million was granted to The Jewish Agency for Israel and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee for the benefit of residents in frontline areas.
