Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of ShinShinim in Toronto

Since the program’s launch in 2006, the ShinShinim—a group of post-high school Israeli volunteers—have made a tremendous impact in Toronto’s Jewish community, including volunteering in schools, community centres, summer camps, synagogues, and community and youth groups across the GTA.

Over the decades, ShinShinim have forged lifelong relationships with host families, lay leaders, and professionals. Their ongoing presence has deepened understanding and engagement between Israelis and our local Jewish community.
