Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Jewish Community Campus

UJA Federation of Greater Toronto’s Joseph & Wolf Lebovic Jewish Community Campus has quickly become a beacon for Jewish life across York Region. Officially opened in October 2012, the Joseph & Wolf Lebovic Jewish Community Campus is now a dynamic centre of Jewish life.

The Campus, located at Bathurst Street, north of Rutherford Road, is the culmination of years of dreaming, planning, fundraising and building that began with the land purchase in 2000.

The new state- of-the-art facility provides “one-stop shopping” for Jewish families  and non-Jews alike,  providing individuals with a spectacular array of facilities and services created to meet the needs of the flourishing community living north of Steeles.

Situated on the Lebovic Campus is the dynamic Schwartz/Reisman Centre,  which, with its myriad of facilities and programs, enables personal Jewish journeys to begin and continue for a lifetime, offering an eclectic array of outstanding fitness and aquatic facilities; Daycare and Preschool facilities; Sports Leagues; Camps, and Outreach and Jewish learning opportunities galore.

The Leo & Sala Goldhar Celebration & Conference Centre is a beautiful, contemporary event venue on Lebovic Campus which features a variety of meeting spaces, ample complimentary parking, wireless internet access and flavoursome kosher cuisine. The venue is perfectly suited for any type of social or professional function.

The array of healthcare options offered on Lebovic Campus will serve the community’s healthcare needs. The Mt. Sinai Sherman Health & Wellness Centre provides everything from family physicians to a full wellness clinic providing leading edge rehabilitation and sports medicine services.

The campus is ushering in a new era of Jewish Education at both the high school and elementary school levels at TanenbaumCHAT North Campus at the Kimel Family Education Centre and Bialik Hebrew Day School North Campus at The Ben and Edith Himel Education Centre.

Community members requiring social services will enjoy the convenience and professionalism offered through 1 Open Door: a unique environment offering various UJA partner social agencies – including JIAS Toronto, JVS Toronto, Circle of Care and Jewish Family & Child to address the social, educational, vocational, settlement, mental health, home care, safety and emotional needs.

The Reena Community Residence is another staple of Lebovic Campus that serves as a housing residence for 84 adults and seniors with a range of special needs.

The City of Vaughan is currently piloting a suite of progressive programs and seminars at Lebovic Campus as part of the Vaughan International Commercialization Centre (VICC): a city-lead economic development initiative. The VICC provides established businesses with the tools it needs to expand.
