We welcome the first Jewish Heritage Month across the country after The Canadian Jewish Heritage Month Act, known as Bill S-232, proclaiming the annual event passed third and final reading in the House of Commons. We mark the moment celebrating the inspirational role that Jewish Canadians have played and continue to play in communities across the country. From law to politics, to culture, to sports, this important initiative celebrates the contributions Jewish Canadians have been making to this country for 250 years.

The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, UJA's advocacy arm has collected some interesting facts on Jewish heritage in Ontario and across Canada.
