One Stop Camp Shop seeks to link camp families through donations of new and/or gently-used camp supplies.

Getting ready for camp, made easier

Overnight camp is the opportunity for children to explore, take risks, have fun, become independent, and learn more about themselves in a safe and supportive environment. And when the camp packing list arrives in May, it can seem very overwhelming. Toronto’s Diller Teen Fellow Alumni, in partnership with UJA’s Silber Family Centre for Jewish Camping, want to help make getting ready for camp a little bit easier! One Stop Camp Shop is a social action initiative to connect camp families through their 'stuff' - new and/or gently-used camp supplies.

Want to get be apart of the the One Stop Camp Shop? There are two ways:

 1. Donate. Find the Donation Centre closest to you and drop off new and/or gently-used camp supplies in our donation boxes, generously provided by Rent-A-Son, available until Sunday, June 19, 2016.

2. Complete a Wish List. Consult your camper's packing list and complete a Wish List so that we know what you need. A representative of the One Stop Camp Shop will be in touch to confirm your information. Distributions will take place on Monday, June 20, 2016

This initiative would not be possible without the support of our partners and sponsors:

  • TEENS’ DONATION DRIVE HELPS FAMILIES PREPARE FOR CAMP

Three Toronto teens have developed a new initiative to help parents prepare their children for Jewish overnight camp. Stemming from their participation in UJA Federation of Greater Toronto’s Diller Teen Fellows Program, Leora Nash, 17, Orly Lipsitz, 17, and Judah Hoffman, 16, created a program called One Stop Camp Shop to collect new and gently used camp supplies for families who are new to the overnight camp experience.
