Identifies and champions affordable housing initiatives responsive to the needs of the Jewish Community.
Established in 1982, Kehilla Residential Programme was created to implement housing policies of the UJA Federation in response to the growing need to better house the Jewish community. This mandate is fulfilled through education and advocacy, project sponsorship, housing research, management of community held projects and development consulting for Jewish community based projects.
A central aim of Kehilla is to ensure that Government housing programmes are accessed to meet the ongoing needs of the Jewish community. In this endeavour, Kehilla is pro-active and highly responsive to the changes in the community.
