This year’s Littlest Volunteer journey is coming to an end with A Day of Giving Back!*
Open to anyone in the community with children ages 4–12, this action-packed event will feature multiple stations for our youngest community members. They will roll up their sleeves and see firsthand how their actions can make a difference to strengthen the community around them. Whether it’s making mezuzahs for Canadian newcomers or drawing cards for Meals on Wheels clients, your kids will learn about giving back through several hands-on volunteer activities.
Join us for this Littlest Volunteer experience that will teach tzedakah, compassion, and what it means to be an active member of our community.
Please note:
This is meant to be a meaningful opportunity for children to experience the joy of giving back and to practice the values of tzedakah (charity), chesed (kindness), and kehilla (community).
While participants will receive a special event keepsake to take home, the items made at each station are donations for individuals and families in need.
We encourage you to prepare your child in advance:
“Today is about helping others. Everything you make will go to someone who needs it.”
“Even though you won’t bring these items home, you’re giving something really special to someone else.”
“You’re going to make someone smile—even if you don’t get to meet them.”
Snacks and drinks will be available | Kashrut observed
