Due to stay-at-home orders from the Government of Ontario, UJA’s Real Estate division is adjusting the exclusive premiere screening of the documentary Shelter to a virtual event!
While we would have loved to be together at the drive-in for this, it will still be a fantastic evening showcasing this documentary and learning about Toronto’s real estate history.
Shelter features Toronto’s leaders in real estate development, telling the story of their journey as post-WWII Jewish immigrants. They built the city’s affordable rental apartment industry, creating a refuge for millions of other immigrants and giving them a new place to call home. Shelter breathes life into the urbanization of Toronto and shows the power of human resilience.
