Rededication of Roselawn Cemetery Hebrew Free Burial Society

Please join us on October 25th at 9:30 in the morning for a rededication of the newly restored Roselawn Cemetery "Hebrew Free Burial Society" section.

The Hebrew Free Burial Society section has been in use since the early 1900s and was the original communal cemetery for the then Toronto Jewish community prior to the development of the Pardes Shalom Cemetery in the 1970s. From the outset, UJA Federation and its predecessor organizations has had the responsibility for maintaining this section.

Recently UJA undertook a major restoration of this communal asset, recognizing that care for a cemetery is an essential religious and social responsibility.

We look forward to seeing you on October 25 to pay our respects to those who came before us.
