The Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto's Jewish Teen Board is an educational program open to teens in grades 9 through 11 that focuses on Jewish identity, leadership skills and philanthropy. Over the course of the academic year, 30 teens worked together as a philanthropic foundation to identify issues in the Jewish community, determine funding priorities and raise funds. The teens raised more than $7,000 for their selected charities – Jewish Free Loan Toronto (JFLT) and Jewish Addiction Community Services (JACS). The funds were presented at the year-end granting ceremony.
