Join the Toronto Holocaust Museum (THM) for Neuberger Holocaust Education Week (HEW) 2026, taking place November 2–9. Come together for a week of compelling, signature programming exploring the enduring importance of Holocaust education, remembrance, and the stories that connect us across generations.
On November 2nd, THM will launch the week with an intimate evening featuring award-winning chef and restaurateur Alon Shaya in conversation with journalist and author Bonny Reichert. Together, they will explore Alon’s new cookbook, Memories of a Good Meal, and the powerful role food plays in preserving memory, family, and identity.
As the survivor community grows smaller, it is more important than ever to honour survivors’ lives, experiences, and legacies. This program will include a special tribute to 101-year-old Holocaust survivor and educator Paula Goldhar, reflecting on her remarkable life and legacy through the lens of food and memory.
Today, October 16th, is the last day to purchase early-bird tickets for opening night! Don’t miss this special evening.
At a time when learning from history is more important than ever, join us for a week of meaningful conversations, powerful stories, and engaging programs. Discover the full lineup and get your tickets today.
