UJA has a unique role. In times of universal celebration or crisis, UJA is the only organization that has the ability to bring together every Jew, regardless of religious, political or other affiliation.
UJA brings together 20,000 people every year to Walk with Israel, the biggest display of support for Israel in Canada and the second biggest in the world
UJA unites more than 1,500 volunteers from all walks of Jewish life to help solve the biggest issues facing our community.
UJA rallied 12,000 community members to urge their local MPPs to support a motion denouncing the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement (BDS) at Queen’s Park.

UJA Federation is 100 years old! As we celebrate UJA’s Centennial we remember that long before the state of Israel was ever established UJA Federation was working towards its creation, sharing an unbreakable bond with the land and its people. Over the last 69 years UJA has worked in collaboration with municipalities, private foundations, philanthropists and government organizations creating solution based strategies to make real change in the country.
