Disintegration, Ukranains and Pogroms
In the 1600s, the Polish/Lithuanian Kingdom began to disintegrate. The Ukraine, which had been previously annexed, rebelled. The ensuing Cossack uprising led to one of the greatest tragedies in Jewish History.
