Adath Israel
Make the High Holidays meaningful, engaging, and fun for your children and teens!
This Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Adath Israel is excited to offer special youth programs for children ages 5–17, designed to help young people experience the High Holidays in a way that is age-appropriate, interactive, and meaningful.
Our programs will include age-appropriate services, engaging activities, holiday learning, games, stories, and opportunities to connect with other kids and teens all in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Children ages 5–12 will participate in specially designed programs that bring the themes and traditions of the High Holidays to life through hands-on experiences and engaging Torah learning.
Teens ages 13–17 are invited to join our Teen High Holiday Program, combining meaningful holiday experiences, and leadership opportunities.
Whether your child is celebrating the High Holidays for the first time or has been attending services for years, we want every young person to feel that there is a place for them at Adath Israel.
Come celebrate, learn, connect, and experience the High Holidays together!

First Narayever Congregation
We are very excited to announce our plans for the upcoming High Holidays and are thrilled to once again offer our beautiful in-person services to the wider community at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Center (MNjcc), where we have for so many years transformed the gym into a traditional and warm prayer space for our community.
The main services in the gym will be led by Rabbi Ed Elkin. The Lev Shalem Machzor will be available for everyone to use during the service.
Our wonderful Director of Family and Youth Engagement, M. Drukker Tikotin, will lead our Family Services on Rosh Hashanah Day I, Yom Kippur Evening (Kol Nidre) and Yom Kippur Day. Our Family Services are designed to be experienced and enjoyed by children and their accompanying adult(s), and are not drop-off programs.
Sarah Colman will be leading Rosh Hashanah Day II Beyachad Bahootz, an outdoor all-ages service in the MNjcc playground where we will come together as a community to turn the outdoors into a sacred space. If the weather doesn't permit, the service will be held in the MNJcc theatre.
During the Day II outdoor service, a special program for children ages 2-8 will take place in the nursery. The program will conclude with the children joining the outdoor service to hear the blowing of the shofar.
We look forward to coming together this year and feel enriched by the strength and warmth of our community.
To purchase ticket(s), please visit our High Holiday webpage at www.narayever.ca/high-holidays or call the office and they will be happy to help you by phone at 416.927.0546
Tickets will be emailed just before Rosh Hashanah. If you choose to join our shul now, your individual membership includes an adult ticket for the High Holiday services. If you should join us before the end of the year, we will deduct the cost of the adult ticket(s) from your membership fees.
