Jeff Rosenthal is Managing Partner of Imperial Capital Group, a leading mid-market private equity firm, which he co-founded in 1989. Jeff has co-led the formation of all the Imperial Capital Acquisition Funds, and the resulting creation and acquisition of a number of successful portfolio companies. He is also a co-founder and director of Altex Capital, an alternative asset platform focused on the GP Secondary marketplace. Jeff has extensive Jewish community leadership experience, including having previously served as Chair of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, co-chairing the 2011 UJA Annual Campaign, and serving as co-chair for the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs. Jeff is a Fisher Flight Fellow, a recipient of the Leadership Development Award from Jewish Federations of North America, and—along with his wife Lori—a recipient of the Harold Lederman Award for Philanthropic Leadership.
Ken Rotman is CEO and a Managing Director of Clairvest Group Inc., a Toronto based private equity company managing $4.3 billion of assets which makes investments of $20-120 million in support of management owners in target industries, including renewable energy, waste management, IT Services, business & residential services, land-based gaming, government services and specialty aviation. During his tenure at Clairvest, Ken has overseen over $2.6 billion of long-term private equity investments in 69 companies in numerous industries and the realization of $4.5 billion from the sale of 47 of those investments. In addition, Mr. Rotman co-founded and was Chairman of Wellington Financial, a North American leading specialty lender to emerging companies, principally in the technology arena. He also sits on the not-for-profit boards of HonestReporting Canada and The LSE North American Advisory Board and has previously served as director of the University Health Network, The Power Plant Art Gallery and The Canadian Opera Company.
Daniel Sonshine joined TorQuest Partners in 2004. As Managing Partner of TorQuest, Daniel is responsible for providing leadership to all aspects of the firm. In his over twenty years at TorQuest, he has led many investments, mostly focussed on industrials and consumer products and was previously Chairman of the Investment Committee. From 2001 to 2004, Daniel worked at CIBC Capital Partners, where he was involved in various private equity and subordinated debt transactions. Daniel currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sinai Health Foundation and is actively involved with the UJA. Daniel graduated as the Gold Medalist from the combined J.D./M.B.A. program at the University of Toronto and received an A.B. (cum laude) in Economics from Harvard University.
