Women’s Philanthropy & BGS present a conversation with Frances Fishman, Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and founder of The Play Base.

 

Frances is a passionate entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in behaviour modification in the home, community and educational settings. She strongly believes in the power of play and adopting a loving approach to helping children learn and thrive.

While the COVID-19 lockdown was an extremely difficult period for children, in numerous ways, reintroducing children to social settings post-isolation has proven to be equally challenging.

 

Frances will be discussing:

  • Change and its effects on mental health
  • How change impacts behaviour
  • Tools to help kids work through these behaviours
  • Tips for improving self-regulation

Frances Fishman

Frances Fishman is the founder and owner of The Play Base and a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with her M.Ed. in Developmental Psychology and Education. With over 12 years experience in behaviour modification in the home, community and educational settings, as well as being a mother of 3, Frances has developed a skill set and a perspective that has allowed her tremendous success with her team and client base. She is an optimist who believes that every person can be given the chance to live to their highest potential when given a loving approach and a team who believes in them
