The Reverse ShinShinim Year of Service in Bat Yam is an elite program for high school graduates from the GTA. Those selected to be Reverse ShinShinim will have the unique and exciting opportunity to spend a gap year in our partner community of Bat Yam, located on the coast just south of Tel Aviv. Through volunteering, day trips, and seminars, participants will immerse themselves in Israeli life, get to know locals, and grow personally and professionally. They will gain lifelong skills to bring back home, continuing their impact and leadership within the Toronto Jewish community and beyond.
This Year of Service is presented through the Partnership2Gether program of The Jewish Agency for Israel, JHub, and UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.

- Enjoy seminars and day trips around the country
- Live independently and gain self-confidence and leadership skills

- Strengthen your Jewish identity and connection to Israel
Eligibility:
- Recent high school graduates who have not previously participated in an Israel Gap Year program
- Preference will be given to Diller alumni; however, other candidates will be considered
- Leadership skills, a team player, adaptable and responsible
- Can speak Hebrew or is willing to learn
Price:
CAD$10,000 (includes housing, insurance, a monthly stipend, and more. Airfare not included)
