Your donation to UJA Federation helps fund numerous life changing programs in Israel. Through the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), one of the programs we support is Alma, a pre-army academy for young women.  This leadership program helps women develop their self esteem and confidence through educational courses, physical training and volunteer work.  Many of the young women come from vulnerable communities in Israel and they often don’t have the same opportunities as their peers, or struggle with unimaginable family situations.
