A Temple Sinai Program: Remote Shalom
Saturday, November 6 at 1.30 p.m.
The murder of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin sent shock waves through the State of Israel and the Jewish world. Yet, almost a generation later, we are still wrestling with the significance of this event. Does it carry the same importance in the diaspora as it does in Israel? What does it mean to our brothers and sisters in today’s Jewish state? What can it teach us about co-existence among Jews who view their own tradition from different points of view?
Join us as we dialogue with members of our sister congregation Ramot Shalom of Be’er Sheva. Whether you have visited the synagogue in Be’er Sheva, been part of our many interactive programs together, or will be joining our conversations for the first time, you won’t want to miss this learning opportunity.
